Air Namibia operates up to 3 flights per day in Airbus A 319 with a total capacity of 112 seats. The flight will be almost complete because it is the last flight of the day from Johannesburg.
I would be the first to check in on the flight considering my 8 hours of the waiting at the airport. Air Namibia's checking is carried out by the company's own staff, two separate counters, one for the eco and one for the business. The staff is very nice by the way. Besides, my plane arrived shortly after my passage from security and customs.
When entering the plane a warm welcome of the Purser and the cabin crew who will both work in the Bursiness Class of 12 seats with real Business Seats, great for a flight that lasts only 2 hours.
The eco cabin is a normal 3-3 version of 100 seats, with 3 cabin crew (2 in cabin and 1 in galley)
A first drink service is carried out then a passage of the meal with 3 choices (chicken, fish or beef), very impressed when we see what becomes of the service on European companies and we are not even talking about American companies. There will be a third pass after the meal with hot drinks and water and wine.Very good meal and friendly flight attendant, smiling and available throughout the flight.
Their Airbus has a screen which presents the route + small video clips, no headphones distributed but since it is a joke type video this is not necessary.
What is great at Windhoek airport is that the disembarkation is done by the tarmack, and that there is no bus so we can take all of the company's planes in pictures up to the terminal which is located a little further.

Air Namibia opère jusqu'a 3 vols par jours en Airbus A 319 d'une capacité de 112 sièges au total. Le vol sera d'ailleurs presque complet car c'est le dernier vol de la journée à partir de Johannesbourg.
je serais le premier à m'enregistrer sur le vol vu mon attente de 8h à l'aéroport de Joburg . Le checking de Air Namibia est effectué par le propre staff de la compagnie, deux comptoirs séparer, un pour l'eco et un pour la business. Le staff est très sympa d'ailleurs. d'ailleur mon avion arrive peu de temps après mon passage de la sécurité et de la douane.
En rentrant dans l'avion, le Chef de Cabine et l'hôtesse nous souhaites la bienvenu, ils travaillerons toutes deux dans la Bursiness Class de 12 sièges avec de vrai Sièges Business, super pour un vol qui ne dure que 2h.
La cabine éco est une version normal 3-3 de 100 sièges, avec 3 PNC (2 en cabine et 1 au galley)
Un premier service de boisson est effectué puis un passage du repas avec 3 choix (poulet, poisson ou boeuf), très epaté quand on vois ce que deviens le service sur les compagnies européenne et ne parlons même pas des compagnies américaine. Il y aura après le repas un troisième passage avec les boissons chaude et de l'eau et du vin. Repas très bon et PNC sympa, sourriant et disponible pendant tout le vol. Leur Airbus dispose d'ecran qui présente le parcours + des petit clips vidéo, pas d'écouteurs distribués mais vu qu'il s'agit de vidéo de types blague cela n'est pas nécessaire.
Ce qui est super à l'aéroport de Windhoek c est que le débarquement ce fait par le tarmack, et qu'il n 'y a pas de bus du coup on peut prendre tout les avions de la compagnie en photos jusqu'au terminal qui est situé un peu plus loin.
